We have heard miraculous things about Bait Cloud bringing the fish to you!
This has been a Bass tactic to date, but we are curious about BaitCloud's effectiveness on other species as well.
As we have just heard about this phenomenon with the Bait Cloud, we are in the process of getting our hands on some, so we can test it out here in the northwest.
Our situation out here is a bit different than bass fishing, we mostly fish the Columbia and Willamette rivers. We are not sure how this BaitCloud will work in the current, but are going to give it a shot.
Over the next few weeks, we will get some on hand and try it out for Sturgeon, Salmon and some other species that we will target with Bait Cloud.
Not only will we add the findings to this blog post, we will also include underwater footage on our Anchor Caddie YouTube channel, so stay tuned for the BaitCloud review!

I would not order from Bait Cloud until the order back fill is resolved.
I emailed a representative and they replied promptly how ever she mentioned my package was just shipped and I should have received it last week.
I still have not received anything and at this point given up on the integrity of the Bait Cloud Company.
It has been a month since I ordered product.
Happy fishing just not with Bait Cloud.

We plan on doing testing on what I would think would be similar conditions to you and your catfishing. I plan on setting up the BaitCloud in a small mesh sack, about the size of the BaitCloud and attaching it to the same swivel I have my sinker on.
In the case of Sturgeon fishing, the BaitCloud will be at the same depth and about 12" or so, up river from my bait.
When we test it on Salmon, we will still attach it to the same place on the sinker, but our bait will be about 3 or 4 feet down river of the BaitCloud and a foot or 2 above.
Hope this answers your question and I will make it a point to check posts more frequently and not leave you guys hanging.

Just to update, we still haven’t received our BaitCloud order. We received a notification on 9/11 that it shipped, but no tracking information was provided, nor is there a way, via their website to get tracking information.
I guess we will just have to wait until it shows up!
Sorry to everyone that has been waiting for our river review of BaitCloud, but as soon as we have it in our hands, we will put a plan together to get the BaitCloud review completed, no matter the outcome.

Hey Paul, I know you just posted yesterday that your samples were shipped and I’m excited to hear of your results. But I was wondering if I could get more info on the kinds of test you were planning.
I do alot of catfishing in rivers and moving waters, When I was first looking for reviews that is what led me to your site. Will you guys still be testing in these conditions? Or what other tests do you plan to do?
