We have heard miraculous things about Bait Cloud bringing the fish to you!
This has been a Bass tactic to date, but we are curious about BaitCloud's effectiveness on other species as well.
As we have just heard about this phenomenon with the Bait Cloud, we are in the process of getting our hands on some, so we can test it out here in the northwest.
Our situation out here is a bit different than bass fishing, we mostly fish the Columbia and Willamette rivers. We are not sure how this BaitCloud will work in the current, but are going to give it a shot.
Over the next few weeks, we will get some on hand and try it out for Sturgeon, Salmon and some other species that we will target with Bait Cloud.
Not only will we add the findings to this blog post, we will also include underwater footage on our Anchor Caddie YouTube channel, so stay tuned for the BaitCloud review!

I saw a you tube video on bait cloud testing at a freshwater marina that had clear water and an abundance of pan fish including Carp and Catfish that were schooled at the docks . All three types of the Bait Cloud attractants were thrown in the water near the fish at separate intervals. The video did not show the fish significantly attracted to the bait cloud. The attractant fizzled out in about 2 minutes and it actually looked like there were less fish in the area once the attractant was finished. The fish were actually drawn a lot more to feed pellets thrown in the water. I do not recommend bait cloud, especially at the high retail cost.

The BaitCloud did not work for me. The thousands of bluegills and other bait fish did not respond to it in an area that I was catching bass.

Well, we finally received or BaitCloud order! We have been anticipating doing our BaitCloud Review and now we have everything we need except decent weather!
To do our BaitCloud Review, we were hoping to get it in the summer, or at least late summer, but we have had some good storms out here in the northwest US, so we are in a holding pattern to do a proper BaitCloud Review, although when a decent opportunity arises, we will get it done.

Well, it’s October 7th and we still have not received our BaitCloud order yet! it’s been over 6 weeks now, but I did see on their Facebook page, that they “said” they are caught up on all back orders and are now current?
We will see…

Mike, we haven’t received ours yet either! It’s been over 2 weeks since shipping notice and nothing, but I do know it can take a couple weeks or so to get orders from Canada.
Hopefully we all get our orders to give this a go!
